Barackbar Obama Refuses to Say 'Radical Islam' is He a Closet Muslim?

"Imagination was given man to compensate for what he is not, and a sense of humor to console him for what he is."
Francis Bacon

Somebody has to shovel the manure. If Obama's religious leanings are of interest to you, have at it. Personally, I'm not interested in anybody's stated religious affiliations. I'm interested in what kind of person they are and what they do. If you can't see the humor in the President (any President) picking his nose on camera, I can't help you.

Good Friday morning to you, humbolt. :2wave:

I really enjoyed the quote you chose! Life's journey stated in simple terms...

Good morning, Pol. Hope your garden is growing well. I actually do have to go clean some stalls in a bit, repair a section of fencing, and pick up some hay. The pastures are so lush this year I have to keep the horses in at night just to keep 'em from foundering, so hay is required. The pastures should slow down with the summer heat shortly. I sure hope so, anyway. I have other things I prefer to do.

What has surprised me the most this year is the huge amount of berries of all types, especially black raspberries - they are so bountiful that they're leaning on each other for support and they're usually an upright grower! The blackberries are half the size of a man's thumb so far, and they're thorny plants; but if they hope I'll ignore them in self defense they're going to be surprised!

I'm going to be busy canning lots of different berries for future pies, and making jars and jars of jelly and jam. Oddly, it looks like the berries are compensating for the Concord grapes that seem to be taking time off this year for some reason! If my veggies do half as well as the berries, I'll chalk it up to finally having a good growing year for a welcome change!

Oddly, it's not a good year for berries right around here. I have no idea why. My veggies are doing great this year, after a couple of disappointing years. Even my brussel sprouts are doing well, and I should have tomatoes here in a couple of weeks. Usually the heat gets the brussel sprouts before they can fully develop, being a slow producer. The broccoli is about done now, and it did extremely well too. Got a bunch in the freezer. The only bad news I can think of garden wise is that it appears my vacuum machine is dying. It's at least 10 years old though, so it's probably time for a new one. I like to freeze all I can. Canning comes later.
