Is it not an American holiday made by Americans? Who cares about what the colour of their skin is, or where their great grandparents came from or what religion they have? Are they not all American? Why does almost everything have to do with ethnicity, race or religion in the US ? It is a holiday, made by Americans for Americans to honor something that Americans have done.. regardless of race, ethnicity or religion.
In honor of Veterans Day, I call for the person who invented the hyphenated Orign-American name be frog marched out and shot at sunset!
/S/ Chuckie Chan. I'm an Sao Tome and Principe - American. But from now on just call me Chuck. :2razz:
