Did John Carpenter Predict the future with his movie THEY LIVE.

"I have come here to kick ass and chew bubble gum,... and I am all out of bubble gum."

Great line in an otherwise forgettable movie.

I agree. Classic movie is an overstatement.

If you didn't read the article how do you know?

From my experience of crank sites. I'll bet that Occupy Wall Street are in there somewhere.

Disagree, great for its time. Low budget yes. But so are many cult classics. IMO better than Star Wars. I hate those movies.

What you got against Occupy Wall Street. You don't even live here.

I thought he predicted the future with my favorite movie, In the Mouth of Madness...

I love that movie - it's fabulous.

Filled with truth? I've thought of it often when stories hit the news that are full of mind-drone levels of thoughtless self centeredness.

I have now read that link and I agree with you. Somebody has been bashing the bong.

He is talking about how far right the Rep party has gone. How it tries to appeal to people that are nativist, evangelical, racist. People that scare easy by propaganda. They are rolling back the New Deal & the party of the rich. If they came out & said this no one would vote for them.

Not saying the Dem's are any better. They might lube you up before giving it to you.

The debates are all about political theater & no one talks about real issues. Just Sanders if you ask me. I think what he is trying to say is: If people on the left & the right don't come together & fix real problems were ****ed.

Are the problems being caused by the middle?

Again what do you have against Occupy Wall Street. How does this affect you.
