In the 20th century, the worst base you could possibly own is the moon. You're literally nowhere near the "World War."

Gonna disagree.
You have the high ground. Very easy to launch rocks or metal sphere as kinetic strikes from the moon.

But no nazi bases on the moon.

This is not a conspiracy theory. It isn't even a conspiracy hypothesis or idea. It barely rates as a conspiracy notion.
Almost as bad as mininukes

It would be easier with the technology we have now, sure. Yet this was a time where artillery was still hitting friendly forces nearly as often as enemy forces I find the idea that you could accurately fire anything from the moon to hit the enemy in the 1940's a stretch.

Although I completely agree that there is no Nazi bases on the moon.

There is not a shred of evidence of a Nazi base at the South Pole so it is not worth considering. One might as well ask if there are Nazi bases on top of Mount Everest, under Loch Ness, In the rings of Saturn........the list is endless.
