Hi everybody, I'm a new member (like everybody that posts here I guess) wanting to discuss about global events.
I'm from France (yeah that's not excusing anything), so I'll surely do a lot of typos as I still have difficulties, especially with political vocabulary, but I'll thank you if you correct me, that's how we progress.
By the way, don't expect me to be active in the debates about US politics :mrgreen:

Since I'm not familiar with French politics, I will be interested in hearing how they differ from US politics on how things get accomplished - do you have to deal with gridlock like we do at times? :shock:
