I went with the thought to first, register my name then perhaps join in some discussions regarding US Constitution/Religion and Poliitics but the way it look, its pretty much a one-sided opinionated argumentative debates, kind of depressing. Writing this introduction itself is dismayed, knowing the people who do reply will only grab a sentence from what I said to go against me. However, I will leave the critics to the professionals and will continue to inspect around different political topics to find something amusing. I'm a big fan on debating on certain issues like; international affairs, Canada & US Constitution, and discoursing about political ideologies/concepts, along with its need for particular affairs. If you expect discussion here to be so bad...so worthless...why do you even want to participate?

I would like to reply likewise, however although you raise MANY valid criticism (I wished you had gone further and maybe talked about trolling but, whatever); having said that you come out of the gate with prejudice about the response you will get. Thus each of us who might have agreed with you are now alienated "as a parched apple" as we know we have to first, overcome that prejudice.

I've said this a thousand times, there are hundreds of forums and each is different, one boasts of 500,000 posts a day but don't tell you 300,000 are trolls. In the end it's kind of like post secondary school, it is what you make it.

So welcome, I guess. I am really interested in what a self-identified "centrist" American looks like.

Exactly- I have no issues with the discussion here- it is well moderated, and a number of excellent points are made. It is not always a bun fight.
Yes there are some, but easy to ignore
