Looking forward to exchanging ideas with lots of great people. I have tried one other political forum (citydata) and was shocked by some of the things posted, I got banned after 2 hours lol

I am always polite and respect other opinions
 
make sure you become familiar with the rules. some sub-forums have added provisions not true for the rest of the board
this is an evenly moderated site
feel free to share your points of view ... no matter how wrong they may be

Actually no. Some views are entirely unwelcome here by either the rules or by members of the forum. Offering some views can easily get your twenty points per time you offer it and others will get your insulted. Also, some mods are on this forum are anything but welcoming.

Oh and just so we are perfectly clearly here, some rules are not actually listed as rules.

Anyway...welcome to the forum yankintx.

I was on citydata political forums for 2 hours

I was given no explanation as to why I was banned

Perhaps it was because I admitted to being a gay male with liberal leanings or

Probably because I called a couple people out who were placing obvious race baiting posts

The mods delete no explanation very scary place

Only then did I research and discover the forum has a rep for being controlled by Stormfront lol

You'll be fine here. It's a fairly evenly biased site and the mods are generally excellent. Being gay and a liberal is no problem; there are a few posters who'd raise their hand to being both. I'm way to the left of liberal but don't encounter too many problems with anyone.

Chill, have fun and say what you like. It would have to be pretty extreme to get you banned in 2 hours.

Have you ever seen the citydata political forums have a look at the some of the crazy stuff the mods allow lol


Race baiting forums, anti Muslim rants hate speeches daily on the Pres that stuff I take serious that's not what this country is about at least I don't think so

You'll find plenty of hate speech here too, but the mods will cut it off if it becomes ridiculously offensive.

No, never heard of city data before. I'll take a look. I occasionally visit PoFo, and the moderation is virtually non-existent there; yeah, a LOT of neo-Nazis and the like.

I have had mods ban me without warning I called out folks for obvious racism asked the mods to get on there butts and delete the stuff I got banned

Why? Your not allowed to argue with them lol

It has a reputation for being a veiled Storm front forum

And from the postings it is entirely true
