It's amazing to me that even after 2008 (a.d) years the martyrdom of this mythical figure remains.

It shows well the indoctrination that has been provided and the way that religion has been used to sculpt and socially engineer entire socities into believing that something which transpired 2008 years ago still has an affect on what happens today! I mean in terms of ration, logic, and common sense it's completely ludicrous!! lol

Where is the pragmatism? Where is the thought? Can so little people think for themselves but only believe everything that they hear? Has it not occured to the core being of your soul that all of this religion could be man made? It COULD be yet just another product of social engineering. A way to make you conform and follow popular belief? These are not just random questions. Ask them to yourself? THink about it. Hell Paris Hilton could clearly be an Icon if we nailed her to cross!? What's with society? Your minds.. they are not your own.

hmm is that what it tells us? or does it tell us that this has to be somewhat true or at least Jesus was a REAL person! and was a great prophet and follower of God at LEAST!... I dont think i would believe in this if it was irrational and totally fake with PROOF!!! but really what proof you have against us... all i ever hear is ... Christians are morons, they think there is a God that they cant see .... are we... or is atheism or other beliefs just as "dumb" Atheism way worse than Christianity. You think there is no God. What is the point to life? Why are we here... where did matter and energy and time even START! there has to be something that lasted forever and that somthing is GOD! he is the creater of the universe. No I don't think you were rude at all. You are entitled to your opinion and belief. My issues deal more with practical reality as yours deal with subjective decisions made in your subliminal mind. You're entitled to your believe I just have nothing to say. You sound crazy to me. Maybe I sound crazy to you. lol. who knows. Right!?

I've given you my thoughts.. I've obviously dwelled upon your religion.. and while I do not discout your right to believe.. I discount the basis behind your beliefs. I discount what to me seems to be highly irrational and downright ludicrous. THere have been many marytyrs.. many celebrities. People file behind those they seem to worship. I even provided you with a very lear example. Celebrity. THe hype and indoctrinations surrounding modern day celebrities mirrors the faith invested in Jesus Christ in 1 a.c.

Can you not see a maniacal pattern here in terms of humanity. How we hold such non-essetial figures as so high above us? What if we were fooled into believing in Christ just as we've been fooled into believing in modern day celebrities? I'm just saying "what if". I'm hoping that you'll think about it.

Well good point... I see how people would compare say Jesus the Prophet to a modern day celebrity but to me... he was so much more than that... He was a miricle performer, he was great in scripture, and not even the pharasees could debate him when he was like 12. He is so much more to me than just another prohet (celebrity) he is God's son. I like what you have said though and respect your opinion

And how do you know any of this? You rely only upon your belief? There is no proof.. just words that you speak. It's mindless and soul-less. It's nothing but word of mouth. Hear say. Just common belief. You fancy yourself as believing what others believe. Have you not a mind of your own? Have you not the virtue of thought.. to debate in your own mind what may or may not be.. or do you only allow popular belief to control your cognition.

It's quite alarming to me.. the way people like you think. It's sort of like why even bother banning guns.. they've already banned yoru mind.

I totally understand what you mean LOL! we dont give lots of proof do we. Well our proof is the bible. The Belief itself. How did it last that long, your very first post... the point of this topic. You see how did the bible really get past down that far... Why was america founded on God, and so successful. From the begining Christianity has been a start of many countries. But eventually the people turn away. Social evolution, or just ignorance and questioning what was before you so you turn away.
