To me "The spirit of the Truth" to the average person is 11. Not 11 as you understand it now. But when you where one years old. And it represents that all throughout your life just on a scaled difficulty. When you where one years old you could pick up one ball and perfectly comprehend it. But eleven wasnt even an part of your reality you processed on a noticed level. Not even able to fathom it as a babe but it was there for sure.
There are difinate infallible truths that cannot be denied by a creature with a soul that has bitten from the tree of knowledge and has reason. Whats so wrong with thinking there is somewhere way beyond your comprehension that may have already figured it out. And maybe it's trying to teach you and whisper to you every day but instead you replace faith with probability. Try living every second as if it was brought forth to you with purpose and climb it like a ladder. Grow heart and hear spirit.

I replace faith with facts. In a world full of murder, disease, famine, ignorance and destruction, your God does nothing for me. Everyone makes their own path.

If you have nothing to cling to then you might as well just sit down in muddy puddle and enjoy the rest of your life until this "meaningless" breeze passes. No use being mopey.

Actually I believe the opposite. Shouldn't you, the Christian, be eager to die? How come when a loved one passes there are no cheers of joy or praise? Isn't that person going to be in heaven, somewhere so much better than a measly, earthly existence? I live my life to the fullest because I don't know what happens when I die... and contrary to what you may think, you don't either.

You are exactly right. For the average person. I was happy when my grandma died. Her stomach hurt very much and she wanted to. I'm sure she never lived a lie, never took a life. But surely saved one.

That's someone with an illness. You would be happy if your mother/father/girlfriend died?

a lot of people, most of us probably, need a belief system to cling to. Having something worth believing is a good thing for them. I have no issues with that, as long as they keep it to themselves. Once they start thinking that their belief system is the only true system, the problems begin...
