case should never have reached the supreme court, some church just got uber-pissed at some idiots for reason that ARE valid, after all, you wouldn't like me to take a knife and stab your pet cat if you thought it was sacred, but as I said, its not court-worthy.

It SHOULD and DID reach the higher courts and for good reason. The lower courts were uncertain where the line should be drawn in regards to freedom of religion and law&order. The opinion of the court for this case outlines MANY legal precedents that have already been established and created a new one. This case may not be monumental in comparison to Roe.v.Wade but the reasoning and background infomation laid out by Scalia in his writing is extremely informative and is applicable to many of the posts in this thread.

As I said, it wasn't court worthy, whether in the supreme court or the lower court of apples at the local fair, it was just idiots being impolite in drinking "peyote" or whatever the **** it is.

PLaintiff should have never filed the case.
