And they tend to have funny ideas about not letting Scripture dominate public life, calling it "archaic" and instead insisting on nonsense like seperation of Church and State powers, dividing the government along 3 branches, the presumption of innocence, jury trials and all other sorts of ungodly rubbish. | Christianity doesnt dictate a form of government. Precisely the opposite. "Render unto Ceasar", "My kingdom is not of this word" etc |

This leaves the relationship between government and Christianity uncertain (with the exception of rendering unto Caesar what is Caesar's).

Your religion has no place in my government. |

EG, If a sect of Christianity believes in promoting a theocracy I think its important this information becomes public knowledge. |

Lean: Libertarian Gender: | Re: U.S. - A "Christian Nation?" Sure it was founded by Christian people the majority is Christian so you could say it is a "Christian Nation" by census.
I don't have a problem with it BUT no way should Christian beliefs/morals be put in to government and infringe on mine or others beliefs/morals, morality has no place in government IMO. |
