Sir you are sadly mistaken. Quakers have been behind the Abolition, Women's Rights and Anti War movements. Quakers are the least politically Conservative Christian related religion. They are against all war. I know this from being one. Perhaps you should do a bit of research. Try Googling "Quaker political views" or go to the website for the Quaker lobbyist group, Friends Council on National Legislation or the FCNL.

Richard Nixon was a quaker. So was Betsy Ross. So was General Smedley Butler of the USMC, holder of two Medals of Honor. I can think of several wars these three supported. Talk about being mistaken.

The names you have listed, Aegyptos, are people who may have been born as Quakers but were probably banished by their Meetings. Nixon was not a Quaker president for example because he was no longer a Quaker when in office.
