Lean: Moderate Gender: Awards: | $69,000,000 taken in by mega church This is the kind of thing that makes me sick about our so called Christian nation. We must have a lot of stupid people in order for this kind of thing to happen. I have to wonder what is done with the money. Does anyone know if this church supports a mission in Africa or something? Help the homeless here in the USA? I mean substantially, compared to income....
Churches should have to disclose total donations to the IRS, even if they don't have to pay taxes on it. Failure to provide full and accurate disclosure should involve a prison penalty unless they can prove that the majority of it went to help the poor and needy. Dollar's church took in $69 million in '06 | ajc.com

Wonder where that money goes? Money for the pastors, ministers and so on. |

Wonder where that money goes? Money for the pastors, ministers and so on. | Oh absolutely. Way, way back when I was a Christian, the pastor of my church lived in a huge church-owned house, drove big cars and he and his wife had about 9 kids last I knew. They were trying to populate the earth all by themselves.
These people aren't starving by any means, fleecing the flock is big business. |

I can't think of any times when this has happened before.

I've been through them before and they're really disgusting, but it was funny to listen to how they described it. If anyone wants to hear the show, they can download it here: http://www.nonprophetsradio.com/audio/ |
