Navy SEALs have secretly captured one of the most wanted terrorists in Iraq — the alleged mastermind of the murder and mutilation of four Blackwater USA security guards in Fallujah in 2004. And three of the SEALs who captured him are now facing criminal charges, sources told FoxNews.com.
The three, all members of the Navy's elite commando unit, have refused non-judicial punishment — called an admiral's mast — and have requested a trial by court-martial.


This is absolutely disgusting and will only serve to put our service members in further danger by making them ever more hesitant and second guessing of their actions.

I LOVE the part about refusing NJP. Anyone who has served or is familiar with this procedure I think will also appreciate how they didn't just bend over.





Ahmed Hashim Abed, whom the military code-named "Objective Amber," told investigators he was punched by his captors — and he had the bloody lip to prove it.


I could understand if he was tortured or raped, but a bloody lip? The detainee probably tried spitting on the SEAL or commented on how he was glad the four members of Blackwater were strung up and burned (one of which was a former SEAL, and the youngest SEAL in history) and then took a punch to the face.


What a joke, where does this end? What a horrible slippery slope this incident is creating.

I hope those three win. THis is why I think military investigators or who ever brings up charges should have combat experience themselves because I do not think anyone in a combat MOS would ever take the word of some scumbag over that of a fellow service members.
