More like, his political days have just begun. The past two years are going to etch him into the history books - in a positive way - that most senators never dream of.

Joe Lieberman is everything that politics should be. I disagree with him vehemently on many things, but I've never doubted his character or that he truly believes what he says.

I thought he set aside his true beliefs a bit when he was riding side-saddle with Gore, but otherwise, I've always thought he had the country's best interest in mind, even though I thought he was wrong on the approach.

Evan Bayh is the only other Democrat I can name that I feel that way about.

LOL...It shouldn't be a surprise. They stabbed their own candidate (Alan Schlesinger) in the back and voted en mass for him, exit polls showed that he received 70% of the Republicans vote.
