Home Sales Decline Unexpectedly

i apologize, i love women

i agree, i never saw you blame obama

however, when i said, "no bottom in sight," you said, "that's right"

(first page of this thread)

you also rightly pointed out that we are continuing much of the same "bs" that got us exactly here

(also first page)

stand up, now, chuck

That sucks for everyone who owns a home.

I guess this all depends on how you look at it. If you have been considering selling your home sure I could see how it would be a big negative but personally I base the value of my home on the use I get out of it. If my home value went to $1 I would not be bothered because I do not plan to sell it and I get the same use out of it valued at $1 or a million $. Actually a lower value would suit me better. It would mean I pay fewer taxes on it.

with all due respect, some of you folks are looking too narrowly at your own particular situations instead of the economy at large

with all respect, no one's very interested in how much equity you've personally accrued or where you plan next to place your investment dollars

we're 50 fathoms underwater, nationally, with no bottom in sight

that's the point
