Re: Senate Bill Fines People More Than $1,000 for Refusing Health Care Coverage

This just blows. I pray to Bruce Willis that it doesn't pass... I refuse to pay a fine for something I don't want just so they can fund it. I currently don't have health insurance, and that's MY CHOICE. I only go to the doctor once a year anyways. I don't see the need to pay for something that I might not need.

And whose Bill is it anyways? The Senate's or Obama's? From the article, I'm guessing it's the Senate's. But I'm almost certain Obama would sign such an "historic piece of legislation" anyways.

I also like how they won't give any specifics on it yet, like: what does it cover/not cover. Who qualifies as being poor or middle-class. etc.

Yeah, so where are all those folks that screamed about their lost "rights" under the Patriot Act at now? Freedom? Not in the USSA...
Am I, a tax payer, paying for these people medical care because they choose not to get coverage? If so, then damn right they should be fined for forcing other people to pay their medical bills.

If their medical bills are paid out of their pocket and not through tax payer money then they shouldn't have to pay any fines.

On a side note, how exactly does this compare to the Government recording my personal phone calls (Patriot Act)?

I thought the point of being eligible for a fine is that you don't want to be covered?

Because then the government would have access to ALL of your medical records. I consider my medical records to be the business of my doctor and myself ONLY.

I want to know who gets to decide what's affordable and for whom? As the Dictator in Chief Obama cements his plans with his co conspirators in Congress it becomes clearer almost by the day that if Obama succeeds the nation fails and the Dims (No Spell Error) go along blindly fallowing their lying false prophet right down the drain, and they can't see it even a little bit of it.

Do you really believe the Gov't doesn't have access to ALL of your medical records now?

It would make more sense for you to be upset that you're having to pay their medical care, not that they're not paying "premiums".

If you're not upset that you're being forced to cover any stranger's expenses for anything, you deserve to be forced to pay.

It's a hell of a lot worse than recorded phone calls, every day of the week.
