Again, Letterman didn't know that it was Gov. Palin's younger "minor" daughter who attended that game with her. And anyone who heard the joke BEFORE realizing that it was Gov. Palin's younger daughter in attendance thought it was damned funny. So, let's stop trying to this topic around and make it sound like I don't care about the molestation of children. Truth is, Letterman made a joke presuming that the Governor's oldest daughter would be the 2nd-half of the punch line. And when she wasn't - when it became known that it was the younger daughter at the game - Letterman immediately apologized.

Now, to be clear, I've never said that Michael Jackson was innocent in my eyes. I do believe he did conduct himself inappropriately with little boys, but that's NOT where I choose to focus my attention concerning his death. If you do, well, that's on you. I just think it's deplorable that you'd try to mix politics with this man's death. The one has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

(Oh, and BTW, there has been several documented cases of pedophilia committed by Preists within the Catholic church. This is something not even the Pope can claim as being untrue.)

Oh...now it's not just a Catholic thing...I get it.
