PBO said that the stealfromus bill needed to be passed immediately, so we could save/create a crapload of jobs before the end of the summer. And, what's the outcome of that?

Instead, he's passing/working on passing legislation that is obviously going to do nothing but kill jobs. Jobs may not pop up overnight, but it's plain to see that the CIC can kill'em overnight. People need to work now. Not ten years from now.

Well, maybe by the end of summer, the outcome will be the saving or creating jobs! Shocker, someone can't wait for the time when its supposed to happen before the expect results.

Well, the ENERGY BILL, is supposed to create over 200K jobs. So we have to see how that goes. Again, expecting immediete results, when even John McCain, and other conservatives admit that results wont be overnight and it will take a long time for the world to recover from this.

Let's start drilling. Tha would save/create jobs today. We wouldn't have to wait a year for jobs that we aren't even sure are going to come to pass. I mean, the energy bill might create 200 thousand jobs, but it's going to kill a million.

Wow. If we continue our dependency on oil (foreign or not) we are heading straight for our downfall. Oil is going to disappear and quickly at the rate we use it. Drilling would harm the environment (we need), would cost alot of money (we need), would show the US' lack of responsibility to uphold its promiese( which we need to do).

So overall, the only thin drilling will do is be a temporary fix. George Bush's tax cuts were a temporary fix.(Yes i can use bold too).

We can't afford temporary fixes any more. We need permanent stable economic and energy policies.

And it wont be easy, nor will it be cheap. You conservatives expect Obama to live up to his promise of fixing the economy without spending money. He never said it wouldn't cost, in fact, I think i remember him saying it would. And hes not even a year into his presidency. Give the policies a chance to take effect and work.
