I dont really agree with the shouting "fire" hypothesis as i think it can be applied far too broadly. However to directly encourage people to use violence on individuals is incitement.

Really I think they associated Hannity in this article because it would make people go "oh hell, I wanna read about THAT!" I didn't even know who this guy was.

"Turner reportedly established a friendship with Sean Hannity, on whose program he was a frequent presence.[4] However, when confronted by the New Black Panther Party's Malik Zulu Shabazz about his association with Turner (in light of Hannity's scrutiny of Barack Obama's association with Jeremiah Wright), Hannity at first denied knowing Turner, then said he had banned Turner from his radio station, and that he never supported Turner's views. Turner subsequently posted this response on his website: "I was quite disappointed when Sean Hannity at first tried to say he didn't know me. In fact, Sean does know me and we were quite friendly a few years ago"

Seems once Sean found out who this idiot was. dropped him like the racist idiot he was.

I think linking him to hannity here, may be a bit of a jab to associate hannity with a racist.

It's funny because in many respects this issue is somewhat similar to the whole William Ayers thing when people tried to claim that Obama had terrorist ties. Just like that issue I think this is much ado about nothing. I don't think that they are trying to tie Hannity to this guy like Hannity supports terrorists and even if they were people are much smarter than that (hopefully). It's not too much fun having the tables turned.

Obama sat in that racist's church for 20 years.

As soon as hannity found out this guy was a racist pig dropped him right quick and banned him from his show.

Did Obama do the same with Wright?

I think the comparisons are indeed similar, however, I think what hannity did was more respectable in this instance, you?

I really could care less. I think that the only people who would even try to tie people together like that are opportunists who care only about attacking their opponents than bringing anything constructive to the table. I think in this instance it's obvious that Hannity isn't an extremist like this guy and doesn't share his views. I also don't think that Obama shares Wright's views or Ayers' views. I do, however, think it is rather hypocritical to be okay with this kind of lame opportunist attacking when it's against someone you don't agree with, but then be against it when it's against someone you do agree with.

Sounds to me like that is an attack on Hannity. Perhaps trying to say Hannity is a right-wing extremist like Turner???

I have never even heard of this Turner guy.

So why wasn't Louis Farahkhan or Jeremiah Wright ever arrested?

I do not agree with Hal Turner's statement, but free speech is just that, free speech.
There was no reason to arrest the man. It's the idiots that would follow through, that we need to apprehend. Of course, that wouldn't happen until it's too late. Where is the law against hate speech? I don't know. People hate people, that's just the way it is.
Doesn't mean you should be arrested for speaking your mind! Sticks and Stones! Ya'll know that!

There's a world of difference between free speech and inciting violence against others. The moment you advocate violence or killing of others, your free speech rights end. Turner should have been smart enough to know that. The man is a buffoon.
