Burris denied seat in US Senate to succeed Obama

Burris has been denied a seat in the Senate. The reason is procedural - The certificate signed by Blago was not also signed by the Illinois Secretary of State, as required for his seating. Burris is filing a lawsuit, but he is toast.

Article is here.

So we can expect Bobby Rush and the other race baiters to label Reid and the rest of the Senate "racists" in 3...2...yeah right.

Gotta love political theater. Good thing there's nothing important for Congress to be dealing with right now

It's already happening. I saw an interview with Burris yesterday in which he flat out rejected any claims of racism, and in fact expressed distaste at those who raise it in his name.

Yea, there are only wishes for rascism, which is why some people are trying to insinuate it. Hats off to Burris, though, on that issue. Lets see here - Are comments about rascism coming from Burris or any black leader? Nope. Are those comments coming from a few (very few) white people? Yup, and there is your rascism.
