She wasn't the sole passenger so it's not just about one American and we haven't seen anything about radio logs yet. We're not living in the time of the US Liberty and if there were radio calls they will be much easier to verify.

The boat had also made 6 previous trips through with medical supplies and doctors on board.

2. that Cynthia MCKinney was or wasn't the only person on board the ship
3. that the ship was rammed at the blockade
4. that the ship has made 6 other trips
5. that there were or weren't any radio transmissions
6. that the USS Liberty was falsely attacked

I lived in Georgia for six years. McKinney is one woman who I wouldn't mind sitting at the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea. They were running a blockade in a war zone. They knew the risks they were talking.

CYnthia has absolutely ZERO credibility in anything!

While I think Cindy Sheehan is wacky, I will forever be grateful that she started speaking out against the War in Iraq. Bravo, Cindy! Bravo!

Yes. I'd like a linkable website that proves they (a) responded to radio contact by the Israeli navy;
(b) they submitted to inspection by the Israeli navy to prove they weren't carrying contreband weapons or explosives;
(c) that they had authorization to breach the blockade during a shooting war.
(d) that they responded to radio contact demanding that they submit to inspection and authorization.

Otherwise, I see nothing more than a deliberate manipulation of news media ... and the since the USS Liberty was more than 40 years ago, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the current situation beyond useless propaganda value.

Cynthia McKinney is a certifiable fruitcake. The entire incident was created to fabricate an "incident" that would garner headlines. A ship breaching a blockade without submitting to an inspection and authorization of cargo is begging for an aggressive stopage. No empathy from me. It's an attention-whore action, and deserves to be stopped by whatever means is necessary.

LOL When I saw Cindy Sheehan interviewed, I thought, "She's smart." No doubt about it. Someone can be wacky and be intelligent. I thought her tactics went over the top to some extent. That's what I meant by wacky. I dated an astronaut who was brilliant (PhD in physics), but he was wacky.

As to the war being necessary, come one, bhkad. Puleeze. We are never going to see eye to eye on this issue.
