Cheney Mocks Biden, Defends Rumsfeld in 'FOX News Sunday' Interview

Cheney Mocks Biden, Defends Rumsfeld in 'FOX News Sunday' Interview - FOXNews.com Transition Tracker
Quote:
Vice President Cheney mocked Vice President-elect Joe Biden's grasp of the Constitution, defended former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and said President Bush "doesn't have to check with anybody" before launching a nuclear attack.

"Joe's been chairman of the Judiciary Committee, a member of the Judiciary Committee in the Senate for 36 years, teaches constitutional law back in Delaware, and can't keep straight which article of the Constitution provides for the legislature and which provides for the executive.
LOL.

They've got the two stooges coming in to take over the 57 states. Let's see how much they repeal the powers of the executive; their very own powers.

I agree with Cheney about Rummy. I would have kept him in there.

The question to ask Biden:

If the Vice President is part of the Executive Branch and has to vote in the Senate does he do it for the Executive, that is MUST the VP vote the way the Executive Branch wants, or are there two Executive Branches?

Not very classy on Cheney's part. The election is over. Bush has actually been very cooperative and gracious toward Obama; a true class-act. Too bad Cheney couldn't follow suit.

Well, Obama hasn't been to gracious. He's continued his smack-a-thon.

As for Cheney, he was asked questions. And gave straight answers. It's what he's done throughout his career. Isn't that what people have clamored for from their politicians?

They are also clamoring for competency.

How so? I haven't heard Obama engage in any gratuitous Bush-bashing since the election. Sure, he's mentioned some areas where he thinks mistakes were made and how he plans to fix them, but it certainly hasn't been a "smack-a-thon" by any stretch of the imagination.
