Exactly 221 years ago, on 9/17/1787, our Constitution was signed and became the law of the land. So while we are bashing each other this election season, let's take a little time out to celebrate this day, on which the grand experiment in representational democracy was launched. America may have its problems, but it is still a nation like no other. That is worth celebrating.
