Maybe the Dems r afraid that Hillary's supporters will draw a wrong conclusion from Clinton and Palin in the same rally and vote for Palin instead of Obama? It is still a very delicate situation I think.

Clinton is being smart. With all of the lying the McCain campaign is doing, if Hillary had attended they would have tried to make it seem she endorsed or at least silently supports Palin's candidacy because she attended. Hillary is too smart to walk into that trap.

If that was the case, McCain's campaign can now say because she isn't attending she supports Iran and it's president....... right? Clinton can't win I guess. Unless she does attend and then Obama makes it seem like Palin endorses or at least silently supports Clinton and the democrats because Palin announced she would attend only after Clinton did. Or maybe they both can come out and say because the two woman were in NYC at the same time they both support each other and are maybe going to run together in the near future.
