I find it pathetic she would not go simply because Palin is going. It's almost childish of Clinton to pull a stunt like this.
Okay, I see your point.

I agree with Frolicking's rationale for why I think it was a smart move. I support it.

Given McCain's lack of integrity in his ads lately, I have no doubt that he would have used this patriotic rally against Obama. Biden should attend it though.

Does this mean that Hillary won't win the Presidential election in November?

What a moron. It wasn't a partisan event until Hillary pulled out.

Sharing the stage with Palin would be a miserable sittuation for Clinton.
She is wounded from her loss as anyone would be. Palin is the salt on that wound.
If Clinton went it would give McCain all kinds of amunition.
From pictures to commericals to Clinton supporters that pay attention due to Clinton and end up seeing Palin.

This election is also much more important than Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
America is more important than Ahmadinejad.
And if Palin/McCain end up winning we stand to lose America, unless we already have.

Actually that is a great idea.
I hope Obama thinks of it.
It would be checkmate for this little sittuation.

Although, how does is bode for a potential future present to have attended a protest of another leader? Like it or not, we have to deal with people. How could another leader ever save face negotiating with someone who protested them. Khadafi came around. He was the Ahmadinijad of the 80's. (Of course Ahmadinijad was planning hijacking/hostage situations back then.)
