It will be interesting to see how much people like her when she's been on the scene longer than a couple of days. Really, this poll is just about pointless.

So far she's done absolutely nothing to earn the respect of America other than reading a prepared speech. She hasn't debated, is not longer taking questions from reporters, put her children on display and then acts appalled when they are looked into. I mean really, lets give it a few weeks before we start posting yet ANOTHER poll. These things are getting ridiculous.

I love this latest talking point "reading a prepared speech;” as if the OTHER candidates don't read from prepared speeches.

What is apparent to me is that Sarah doesn't JUST read her speeches, she is passionate about what she is saying in those speeches.

I guess you missed the story about what happened during Palin's speech Indy; the teleprompter operator didn't stop the prompter during the pauses for cheers and so Palin had to continue from her notes and memory. During the speech, she kept looking down and flipping pages of the speech between cheers.

But I do like how petty Democrats have become trying to come to grips with a woman who has become the hero for those wanting to see REAL change from an OUTSIDER and someone who is far from tepid taking on her critics head on.

I am also looking forward to her debate with Biden when it highlights the ineptitude of not only Biden, but the Democrat party as a whole. It will be interesting to see the excuses rage after she kicks his ass.

By the way, did you miss the interview with Rick Warren where Obama looked pathetic and then his camp claimed McCain cheated?

Obama has proven that that's all that's necessary to be considered a legitimate candidate. They picked Palin for the same reasons - the fact that she also has some accomplishments under her belt will just be a bonus - a little extra something to attract those that aren't mindlessly following a white-hating, party machine candidate just because the media has told them that it's the right thing to do.
