Yes, but child molesters get sentenced to probation.

Kind of shoots one's faith in the justice system in the foot doesn't it? You did notice that the sentence was more than what the prosecutors asked for though didn't you?

Huh? You think I am actually defending Abramoff? I'm in no way, shape or form defending him and I've said nothing to support that stance. I simply feel that no child molester should get sentenced to probation if Abramoff is getting 4 years in prison. Protecting our children is my "hot button" issue, which is why I referenced child molesters and the light sentences far too many of them get.

This is good news, jfuh. The prosecutors were looking to reduce his sentence for providing so much information. Not everyone that Abramoff has named has been tagged in this corruption. We shall see who else is in deep doo doo.

Two different cases. Apples and oranges. If you want to talk about a child molestor that got probation, start a new thread as I know nothing about the case.

Me, I now wanna see DeLay get nailed to the wall. That has relevance to this case.

What does DeLay have to do with this case? And what interest does a Canadian have in seeing DeLay get "nailed to the wall"? And are you going to apologize for jumping to the conclusion that I was defending Abramoff?
