Well well well, is this what some on the left consider defeat? 11 out of 18 provinces turned back over to iraq,

AND

Al-anbar which was one of the wost being turned over.

Is this what Durbin, and crew meant when they said "unwinnnable"?

It's just for show, the fact is this is a horrible idea (moving our troops out of the cities) as if we need to go back in, we need to go back in.

This is just to make the Iraqi's feel confident in their gov't, nothing more.

(I base my view on the judgment of a few military heads I know, that are moderates. I am not anti-war/terrorist-lover/partisan hack etc. because I don't view every troop movement as a victory)

If the Iraqis feel confident in their government, perhaps they will actually try to support it.
