I hope more vote for Obama because he is black. It is certainly a better reason than "hope" or "change". There is a real practical difference made by having a black man in the white house.

On this I do believe we can all agree.

Although those who have already dealt with people of color being elected to high office may well decide that the practical difference is not necessarily good for the US.

Okay look, Nigeria is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, and the group doing this has done this sort of thing before. If the whole point of this thread is not to discuss a broken fundraising system, but to debate whether or not they donated because of his colour, then the answer is a resounding YES. As you already fear. And they do it because of people such as yourself.
