You know, between China and our own food producers, I don't know who is going to kill us all off first. Anyone care to start a betting pool? Article is here.

I want hormone fed cows that are bigger and stronger.

Think about how many millions of downed cattle there are each year. Then think about the fact that there have been THREE cases of mad cow in the US in all of recorded history.
Banning all downed cattle because of mad cow fears (especially considering that the two are only tangentially related) is like using an AK47 to shoot a fly. |

It could be nothing, or it could be something potentially hazardous. You want to take that risk? Are you ok with it? Or would you prefer that they abide by the USDA rules and have them checked by a veterinarian before their meat can enter the food supply?
Remember how many people died in the UK? |

| Absolutely. It's safer than taking a walk. Quote: |

| Of course I'd prefer that, given that that's the law. This company broke that law and is being punished. Doesn't mean that all downer cows are somehow bad. Quote: |

| Yea, 165 in all of recorded history. Not scary. |
