Yes it was for opium eradication. It was also to help grease the wheels for an oil pipeline. Regardless, bin laden was there. You can't fault Clinton for not getting him when Bush wasn't interested in getting him, human rights, or liberating an oppressed people.
 
Limbaugh was referring to one soldier.

You don't read very well. We were trying to leave russia out of the equation by running the pipeline under the Caspian Sea. You are hopeless.:roll:

So has construction started on this "pipeling" and what did the taliban not handing over OBL have to do with why we went into Afghanistan?


There was a real reason, your don't need to live in the land of make believe to find the reason.


We had 2,819 reasons to roll through the taliban and your conspiracy bunk is insulting to those who died's memories.

WOW!!! Is there nothing you will take out of context? I was making the point that BEFORE 9-11 bush gave them money for opium eradication(wink,wink) with the alterior motive of an oil pipeline. He was dealing with terrorists. He was more interested in getting deals for his oil buddies than he was at getting bin laden. THIS WAS BEFORE 9-11.

How you can take that as an opposition to the invading Afghanistan is beyond me. I never opposed invading Afghanistan. What is sickening is the fact that you are trying to make dishonest political points by invoking the memories of the 9-11 victims! It is obvious that you are more loyal to your ideology than you are your country. Enough of the threadjacking. Go back under your bridge and figure out how you can use the deaths of the 9-11 victims for your own personal gain.

I lost friends and family on 11 September 2001 in the WTC collapse so don't lecture me boy on "using 9-11" you have no standing.


As for threadjacking go back and review who is threadjacking, it is you as usual.
