Jordan jihadis vow fight to the end By Katya Adler
BBC News, Amman. Wednesday, 19 September 2007, 09:28 GMT

People have so little in these neighbourhoods but what they do have is satellite television, bringing bloody images of Iraq straight in to their homes.

I've produced my own video commentary about the cited news story.

Satellite terror TV incites Jordanians to terrorism in Iraq.

So Arabian satellite TV propaganda recruits terrorists for war against us in Iraq.
The Americans should destroy these enemy-controlled satellites with missiles. NOW!

To win in Iraq, the USA and allies must use our superior military technology.
Perversely, however, the USA is currently SELLING arms to Arab regimes whose TV is against us.

Such "enemy" regimes should be deprived of the technology of warfare such as TV.
It is poor military strategy for the USA to sacrifice as many soldiers as the enemy does.

The USA can win in Iraq by stopping satellite TV recruitment of terrorists.
It is better to sacrifice their satellites in space than to sacrifice our soldiers in Iraq.

Instead of confronting regimes like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Bush administration has been appeasing them.
President Bush wants to sell them more arms when they cannot be trusted even with satellites.

As the Star Trek character Commander Scott might have said -
It's "war", Captain, but not as we know it.

Or, we could actually do something credible for once and leave Iraq like our President said we would do. That would mostly like stop Jordanian terrorists from coming into Iraq to attack our solidiers.

I hope we help them reach that goal.

Yes, the Jordanian terrorists would go to oust the elected Iraq politicians and impose some kind of tyranny.

Then, using Iraq as a base, they would go looking for our civilians wherever they were to be found in the world. Yours, Iriemon, is an even worse strategy than the current Bush/Gates/Rice not-so-good strategy which allows the enemy a free hit at us by tolerating enemy satellite TV terrorist recruiting propaganda.

What I will say is that I sympathise with those who wouldn't themselves want to go to Iraq and serve under a command with this current less-than-the-best strategy. I wouldn't go to Iraq now. I would refuse to serve under Bush or Brown with strategy as is. It is dumb. :doh

I honour those who are brave enough to take the fight to the enemy with the strategy we have, rather than with the strategy we need. I'm just not that brave. Also it makes no sense to put your best intelligence analysts in the firing line - he said boastfully. :3oops:

I would serve at the highest level - I'd be prepared to give strategy briefings in London or Washington - as that is where the strategic paralysis is on our side, and where I could do the most good.

I'm not sure this in entirely accurate. Most Iraqi insurgents don't want to spread past the Iraq border. They are not looking to spared Islam to the world and kill anyone who opposes them, such is the goal of Al-Qaeda. They want their specific denomination to have control over Iraq. Now what they will do is ally with other countries of their denomination. Sunni's will most likely ally with Syria and Shia's most likely with Iran. Though this will occur to some extent no matter what the outcome is in Iraq.

People need to stop grouping Al-Qaeda and Al-Qaeda like extremist groups with Iraqi insurgent groups.
