Greenspan: Euro Gains As Reserve Choice

Get ready for the other shoe to drop. Greenspan has stated that the Euro may very well replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency. If that happens, we are in a world of sh!t.

Article is here.

You Defeatocrat you! Don't you know the US economy is the best it has ever been! Just because the dollar is almost as weak as a stillborn kitten against most other major world currencies and our National Debt is out of control, it doesn't mean we are headed for a major recession.

Re: Greenspan: Euro Gains As Reserve Choice

Greenspan also blasted the Republicans and Bush for their handling of fiscal policy in his memoirs.

... former Federal Reserve chairman skewered President George W. Bush and congressional Republicans for what he said was reckless spending and a politically driven economic agenda and said they deserved to lose control of Congress in 2006. By contrast, he praised former President Bill Clinton, a Democrat, and his economic record.

However, Greenspan still says that he would vote Republican next year. That might be a sign that the Neocon infiltration of the GOP is finally over.
