Karl Rove Says He Is Leaving the White House

Happy days are here again! One of the most evil men to ever serve in American politics and in the White House is finally going back under the rock that he crawled out from under!

Another Neocon who leaves with his tail between his legs! I for one hope he never resurfaces and that he spends the rest of his time in anonymity!

Rove will be remembered as the chief architect of the scheme to cheat Americans, especially when it comes to elections.

WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 — Karl Rove, the political adviser who masterminded President George W. Bush’s two winning presidential campaigns, is resigning.

In an interview published today in The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Rove said, “I just think it’s time,” adding, “There’s always something that can keep you here, and as much as I’d like to be here, I’ve got to do this for the sake of my family.”

Mr. Rove said he had first considered leaving a year ago but stayed after his party lost the crucial midterm elections last fall, putting Congress in Democratic hands, and Mr. Bush’s problems mounted in Iraq and in his pursuit of a new immigration policy.

He said his hand was forced when the White House chief of staff, Joshua B. Bolten, recently told senior aides that if they stayed past Labor Day they would be expected to stay through the rest of Mr. Bush’s term.

Guys...guys.....while I am elated he is leaving, I believe there must be something up with this plan of action. Maybe he's going to go work for the Republican nominee so that he can tear down the Democratic nominee the way he did Gore and Kerry. He cannot be leaving politics. The man is obsessed with making the entire government a "Republican" government. So he wants to make the White House, the Supreme Court, and Congress all run by Republicans. Something must be up.

As a result, I cannot rejoice in this occurrence. Karl Rove is a mean-spirited c**ksucker.

Wouldn't it be ironic if he were somehow permanently removed from politics by an "Act of God"?

I think we can rejoice in that at least for this election cycle Rove will be uninvolved.

hmm, that may be possible. He was saying after all he is positive the Republicans are going to keep the White house and there is no point of him being there with the Democrats in control of the house and senate. Interesting.

Anyways, good ridance and I hope he knows that karma is a bitch!

Few people on earth have more blood on their hands than MC Rove. And American politics has rarely seen such a monster. It is good to see him leave the stage, but to see him leave without being in handcuffs is still proof that certain people are above the law.

It has to be said that he was a political genius. Good riddance to bad rubbish however.

The American people fell for his slogans and schemes. Fooled you more than twice... He's still a phone call away. In fact now with less of a spotlight on him he's more dangerous than ever.

lmfao, umm what more elections does Rove have with the Bush administration? He wasn't fired he began the next wave of Republican wins. Poor little DemocRATs are now crying that he left on his own accord and not in the handcuffs of their wet dreams through their witchunts.

Rove isn't gone he's just started on the next campaign, eat that!

He wants to spend more time with his family. That's all.

"Obviously it's a big loss to us," White House deputy press secretary Dana Perino said. "He's a great colleague, a good friend, and a brilliant mind. He will be greatly missed, but we know he wouldn't be going if he wasn't sure this was the right time to be giving more to his family, his wife Darby and their son. He will continue to be one of the president's greatest friends."
