Jon Stewart v Bill O Reilly Round ?

Jon Stewart took up Bill O'Reilly on his invitation from last week, and on Monday sat down with him on The O'Reilly Factor so that the two could debate their disagreement over whether or not the First Lady had any business inviting rap musician Common to the White House, which aired on The O'Reilly Factor Monday night.

The second half of the debate, which aired last night, switches gears to focus on which Republicans are viable candidates for president and starts at the 15:40 mark in this complete, unedited video from Fox News…

I think some Stewart made some points about the Common thing that O'Reilly wasn't expecting and I think O'Reilly was trying to sell the Fox News is diverse thing too hard. O'Reilly at times was becoming loud mouth obnoxious O'Reilly. I do think Stewart was trying to avoid the question on whether or not he thought it was a good idea though, but I do agree with Stewart's overall opinion of the matter.

I was surprised that Stewart didn't make a total ass out of himself like he does on his own show, I stopped watching his show a few years ago, because I don't think he's all that funny.

I give Stewart high makes. I don't think there was a winner, because it was mostly just an exchange of ideas and some give and take.

I give Bill O'Reilly high marks for having Stewart on to debate, the winner however was clearly Stewart IMO.

I watched it and I didnt think the conversation was a win lose situation. It was more an opinion thing. I do believe stewart was on his best behavior and not telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth about how and what he really believes...he wanted to appear more moderate and he did...more moderate than he really is....Same with whoopi goldberg when she goes on Oreilly she actually tries to act like a lady then...get her with behar and they both act like animals

I saw a previous debate and Stewart did not do well. I hope he has rebounded strong and took this one. These two going at it is a very good thing, IMHO. Big-O is one of the few (maybe only?) I respect at Fox and Stewart is a god.

Re: Jon Stewart v Bill O Reilly Round ?

I go with Stewart. His argument was clear and concise. Know who else thinks that Stewart won?

O’Reilly asked his viewers to vote in a poll at Bill O'Reilly Official Home On The Web and adjudge “Who had the stronger argument regarding Common at the White House?” between the two cable news personalities. The results may surprise you!

One might think that since the overwhelming traffic that arrives at a site titled BillOReilly.com would have a predisposition to vote for…well, Bill O’Reilly.

But as one can see in the screencap, the vast majority of those who partook in the poll believed that it was Jon Stewart that had the stronger argument, coming in at 79% to O’Reilly’s 21%. Now this is from O'Reilly's viewers.

And I heard, not sure it's true, but apparently Bill O'Reilly has conceded and said that Stewart won.

I'd have to find a source on that claim, O'Reilly rarely fesses up to being wrong.
