The sex slave trade is alive and well in this country and the people that perpetrate this enslavement of CHILDREN should recieve no mercy from the cops that find them...to the judges that hear their case..Its unbelievable that in 2011 this still goes on.


Caught somewhere between the casinos’ allure and impoverished neighborhoods lies a secret Atlantic City, where girls such as Lisa are used as a product for those who provide a different kind of entertainment. One in which sex with underage girls is a big business. Girls ages 12 and 13 — some from the southern New Jersey area, others from other states — have been found being sold for sex.

Somehow Irans eye and eye just got alot more appealing to me.

Nothing new in this. Just because you dont see it in the media as often as it should, does not mean it does not happen all the time. Human trafficking is a very profitable and old industry.... it was once called slavery.
 
Only as young as twelve? My, they're showing admirable restraint.

This article is misleading. Pimping is not the same thing as selling someone as a sex slave. If it is, what's the big news here? Pimps have been around forever. Really denigrates the real thing, in my opinion.

Maggie whether its a pimp or a coyote or an out of country sex trafficker...whats the difference if the girls are 12 ? that isnt misleading to me

That's a nice sentiment. I'd like to see you do something about it. I really, really would. But do you know what happens when I propose doing something about it? Every goddamned liberal and their goddamned liberal dog accuses me of "hating sex" and "repressing women" and talks about every man's God-given right to $20 blowjobs. This is what they are supporting. This is what paying for sex buys you. They think they're going to clean it all up and protect the children by opening the floodgates, and all they are going to do is normalize the behavior that creates this. When you believe that you have a right to buy sex, that you are entitled to sex, this is the world you are creating. This is what commercial, industrial sex looks like.

You remember this the next time you see someone saying that the government has no business interfering with "consenting adults".

I couldn't possibly hurt these vermin enough to make up for what they're doing, not even in a million years. I don't know how. But society won't let me destroy them, won't let me hurt them, and every day more and more people are arguing that we shouldn't even try to catch them. So what the Hell am I supposed to do about this? You tell me. You tell me how to make this stop, and I'll do it. You find a way to prevent children from being sexually exploited without being dogged on all sides by the bleeding hearts and the perverts and the anarchists, and I will do anything you tell me to.

But don't you dare sit there and judge me for not being horrified enough of something I've known about all my life.

When I think of selling a child into the sex trade as a slave, I think of parents in Third World countries who actually do sell their children for that purpose. They are held captive against their wills. In our country, the average pimp has willing recruits who could leave if they so chose but are so broken they think they have no place to go. It's deplorable and inexcusable, but I don't think it's the same thing as being a sex slave. I think there are probably foreign women who are held captive using fear of deportation and jail...taking their passports...but I don't think the "average pimp" is engaging in sex slavery.

If they are, we're doing a piss-poor job of protecting them...I think the greater majority of these girls are willing (if misguided) participants. There's a difference.
 
Interesting that this is just coming out in NJ because we have a case reported in the last 24 hours here in Taiwan of 15-year-old boys pimping around girls as young as 12...

Disgusting and scummy... the girls here weren't slaves and said they wanted to do it to earn money so they could have luxuries they couldn't otherwise afford.

For the record, prostitution at any age is illegal in Taiwan, though there is a growing movement to decriminalize it...

When I first retired, I joined a group of retired law enforcement officers, that combed underneath the boardwalk in Atlantic City for young underage sex slaves and runaways, we worked with a catholic priest and Russian Orthodox Priest that ran homes for girls and young boys that we found to help them find their families and get them home, if not help them anyway they could.
Im gonna cut this short...I have a revulsion for scumbags that do this deep in my testicles and without a second of remorse I could watch them die...what ive seen with my own two eyes...is enough to justify them dead. Its not only young girls that are used as sex slaves. We went along way to cleaning it up and for 10 yrs or more you didnt hear much more about it...this caught my attention because there seems to be a resurgence.

Hey buddy not a problem..If it werent for opening my mouth and sticking my ass in it...I wouldnt exist...Ive gotten in more trouble on this forum in my first two weeks than im sure you have your entire time here lol
 
Sex slavery exists of course in far more areas then most people realize

Europe- Eastern European women (russian, Ukrainian primarily) are promised well paying jobs in Europe, Israel and parts of North America. Only to be beaten raped and forced into sexual slavery by criminal gangs. Plenty of these woman are working in Western Europe, Israel and other areas with high levels of Russian/Ukranian immigrants ( russian mob)

In east asian communities in North America, you could find large numbers of chinese and a growing number of North Korean women being forced into sex slavery. Typically these women will be seeing east asian clients and not those of european ethnicity

In third world countries, Thailand, Cambodia, certain central american countries, sex tourism is popular for european and north americans to travel to. Typically in these areas the men are more interested in the younger childern rather then those of 15 or older.

There isnt any age restrictions to the sex trade.....they move them when the heat comes from the cops...they move city to city...vegas, la , NY ..AC etc...they'd take 100 yr olds if they could make a buck off them

Legalized prostitution is NOT the same as sex slavery. In fact, it would likely lead to diminishing sex slavery since the majority of people who would seek the services of a prostitute would rather go to one who's legal than one who isn't.

The only reason why underage prostitution happens so much is because all prostitution is illegal right now. The legalization of prostitution will push honest and law-abiding customers away from criminal rings who use underage girls and funnel them towards legal brothels who have adult prostitutes. This will reduce the money that gets paid into illegal sex slavery rings. They won't go away completely, but it will divert a large amount of money away from them and will thus make it more difficult for them to operate.

Right - the only reason why there's no age restriction on the sex industry is because most of the sex industry is illegal in the U.S. By legalizing it and regulating it, most customers of prostitutes will go towards adult legal prostitutes rather than risk the penalty of sex with an illegal underage prostitute.
