Palin says White House invite to rapper Common lacks ‘decency’

Breaking News: Sarah Palin's latest Brain Fart gets 8 pages on DP...

She ain't worth it.

.... Rock'N'Roll is mostly made up of junkies and sellouts glorifying drinking, cheating and being all around worthless no-job having dip****s.

Most of the Rock I listen to is profoundly timeless. Thoughtful lyrics, innovative musical arrangements, and DRUMS like rolling thunder...

Very few songs about drinking, cheating, etc...

Sounds just like rap to me.

It's okay. I still listen to some of it.

you would do well to speak respectfully of more succesful and intelligent peoples, palin specifically. the point she was making is that if you are the head of the civilized world, you should sorround yourself with truly intelligent, talented and inspiring individual. all common does is bash bush, praise obama, andact like he is a victim of some pervasive racism in the white mans world. though not a cop killer himself (i would never assume such an edge on that passive wannabe) his virtues are limited and there are a thousand more people who would have better fit a white house guest role. obama desperately wants to look cool these days.

So when Palin puts "crosshairs" on candidates and uses the phrase "blood libel", it's merely "symbolism" and "metaphor" - but when a black man writes a poem, it's nothing but literal?

You would disinvite someone whose charity work includes the Common Grounds Foundation - instilling leadership skills and teaching equality and giving books to children of all races and backgrounds?

Where was the uproar when Eric Clapton came to the White House? After all, he sang "I Shot the Sherriff" (yes, I know it was a remake) and advocated the use of "Cocaine".
