Some Liberals in Arizona are out of their minds. This requires the rest of the State to vote for it and it's not going to happen.
Seriously if this is about Mexicans why don't they fix one of their own States.
That is not Racist, wanting a Mexican State here is.

Actually, the movement has been around since the mid-1960s and has been largely white hippies. The Mexican-Americans have only recently joined the movement because Gov. Brewer and her ilk are making brown people (regardless of legal status) feel unwelcome in Arizona.
That aside, I love state secession movements just from a historical perspective. And there have been a TON of them in the US.
Long Island has (as recently as 2008) talked of seceding from New York to form its own state. Norther California has talked secession from Southern California. East Tennessee talked of seceding from Tennessee similar to West Virginia seceding from Virginia to form a Union state during the Civil War. Eastern Washington has talked of leaving to form it's own state.
These movements are long and storied and come from both right and left. I think it's kinda fun.
