    Wow.
I hope his replacement is better.

Sufficient political unrest costs the powers that be money. Messing with the money is something that will not be abided.
Perhaps the next guy will be someone who is seen as more capable of preventing disruptions. I hope he is sympathetic to Iran's more reasonable factions.
    I may be wrong.

I'm not celebrating....who's the replacement? Let's find out who'll be next up to bat, then I'll pass judgment.

This is no different than a major oil company or hedge fund telling Obama to resign. Ultimate authority in a country seldom resides w/the democratically elected puppets.

One can only hope this is true and that his successor is more fair minded in his world view than his predecessor.

I've watched a lot of documentaries on Iran and for the most part, it seems that it's young population tires of war and hatred towards Americans and want to reform into a nation closer to how Saudi Arabia is, or even more reformed than that. It seems to be the elder politicians and propaganda that keeps them down.

In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that’s crazy." -Reagan

He's not even important. Any decision he makes can be superseded by the supreme leader. Mahmoud is nothing and the office of President of Iran is a puppet post and that's it.

He wasn't hardline enough for the Ayatollah, why do you think he is possibly going? A more vile and vicious creature who will obey his master in full will take his place, i can promise that much.
