"They killed him not because there was a fire fight or something going on. They went there with the intention to kill him. That's an execution or an assassination, whatever you want to call it," Michael Moore told CNN.

Sounds like Mike Moore and Vicchio have something in common.
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

I wasn't there and given the vast dearth of information, I won't venture to second guess the actions of the professional involved with the shooting.

However, I cam see why folks would want to have ObL for questioning, etc.
I can also see why people would want him tried.

There're benefits for all of these options. But we can't choose freely among them any more.
    I may be wrong.

Dunno about everyone else, but I stopped listening to him about 13 documentaries ago.

I keep up with what Moore's doing by reading threads on DP. Otherwise, I don't really hear of him in my day-to-day

Moore is a hypocrite. He has no credibility and should just shut up already.

If he wasn't making money from having his mouth open...
Until that money stops coming in, I reckon people on DP will continue to post about him.

Moore can be his proxy in the courtroom......of public opinion. Moore, ya jerk!
