Moore: Bin Laden Suffered An "Execution;" Should Have Put Him On Trial

Gotta love the Michael Moores who believe thier opinion is important to the mass'. Michael Moore just like none of the rest of us were in that compound a part of the mission. Truth be told I dont believe any of us including Obama will know precisely all that occurred and i dont CARE either...what I do care about is the scumbag is dead and we dont have let him put on a show for the entire world to see and have holder attempting to have his trial in downtown NYC
 
I don't care if they shot him in his sleep, the Seal that pulled the trigger gets free beer for life.
 
Micheal Moore should go on a diet.

I would have preferred it if Osama Bin Laden was captured and put on trial rather than killed.

But, then again, I'm not going to condemn anybody for shooting him on sight.

Sam honestly do you realize what a sideshow it would have been...can you imagine the circus it would be...dead is much better and hes a fine example of who should be made very dead....

It doesn't have to be a gunfight for Osama to have been a very real and direct threat. Suicide bomb is a rational out for him when cornered.

Maybe I'm wrong. I just reviewed the first speech he gave and he didn't say we captured him. I swear I heard him say that, but maybe not.

A lot of things were said as the news was breaking, along with a lot of things that someone said that were said. That sort of thing always seems to happen whenever a big news story breaks. The facts take a while to get sorted out, but the story has to be played ASAP, before the competition scoops it.

The difficulty of having a trial is insufficient grounds for not having one, imho.
 
Bah, Moore is a joke. Nobody with two brain cells pays a bit of attention to him. An AK-47 and a handgun were found in bin Laden's room, within his reach. Since he didn't fling his arms up and surrender while his wife rushed the assault team, I'm speculating that bin Laden was reaching for them when he was shot. To me it doesn't matter whether he was armed or unarmed, whether he was KIA or assassinated. He's dead. That's all that counts.

Oh I understand. After all, his imprisonment will be a constant security threat, and because of that the lives of the guards would be in constant danger should Al Quaeda or some other Islamic extremist group try to free him by force. So would the lives of the prosecutor, the judge, any witnesses, and possibly even the defense attorney.

That's why I don't condemn anyone at all for killing him.

But there's also the moral high ground we need to maintain. Due process is a good way to maintain that. I mean we even captured Saddam Hussein and put him on trial and he was executed. So I don't think it would have been all as bad as you state.

Like I said, I'd have preferred a trial but I'm not going to cry that he didn't get one.
 
They made me watch "Roger and Me" in high school and I've never forgiven the man.
 
I love Moore but he has lost some bigtime respect from me over this:(

If they really wanted *that* they should have been pushing for it thise entire time - and no one *not a single ****ing soul* did anything of the sort.

So no one really gave a ****.

You know - after you put a bullet in someone's head is not the time to debate what we should do to ensure 'justice'

Almost all executions are done on unarmed men. They don't allow the prisoners guns, do they?

There was no doubt about Obama's guilt, which is the purpose of a trial.

So he was shot, what's the big deal?

Let me ask you a question: how could he do all the things he does without looking like a hypocrite? Most humans are hypocrites so it is not like this should be some huge deal.

Are people who think we should get rid of unemployment benefits yet are unemployed and receiving benefits hypocrites?

You can work the system while criticizing it without being a hypocrite. Even if he advocates against a capitalist society that doesn't mean that he has to close his eyes and pretend we aren't in a capitalist society. That's not being a hypocrite. He's playing the game according to the same rules that everyone else follows while advocating for different rules that everyone himself included should have to follow.

The guys a douche but it doesn't mean you get to just say whatever you want regardless of whether it makes sense.
 
The only thing that gives me comfort about Michael Moore's lunacy is that he was criticized harshly by a good portion of his supporters for this.

Moore can go **** himself.The only people who should be whining that Bin Laden was killed are terrorist sympathizers. I think He should have suffered all kinds of horrible unspeakable acts before dying but I am not going to bitch they killed him. Those men who killed him did this country a great service.
