Or ... David Duke ...
Aye that is probably a better comparison.

This means, of course, by Ptif's logic, everyone is a racist because at one point or another we have been part of an organization with someone who was racist in it.
Yes, I know I'm replying to my own post. haymarket, my reading comprehension is out of wack above. I'm leaving the post, it's just not directed at your post.
... So then the act of comparing somebody to somebody you think is racist... is racist? He didn't even compare them. He said they have some of the same statements. And they do. America's far right and people like Rush are different sides of the same coin. Obviously Rush would never say '**** niggers'. He'd simply say 'we need to stop feeling sorry for the blacks'.
Its amazing how our left wing friends always cry racism.....
BO is weak now and there is no reason to think he'll be in any better shape when the campaign swings into full gear. It will be the first time he has had to run on a record. He's not a clean slate anymore. It won't have to be dirty. Just factual.

I am always amused when seem to think all democrats are part of some sort of orchestrated effort
So because one person says something that means it applies to all the Democrats? Good to know that I can do the same to Rush then.
You already do. I can say this because the democrats use the race card every election.
They are banking on it. This is called get out the vote of Obama's base. Some might say a say a racial group of many diverse interests that votes one way by about 97% is racist. That is what Travis is working on, getting out his group which will vote 97% one way.
Let the screams begin.
And your post is an excellent illustration of the ugliness that has been here for several years and will only get worse.
Your post is also a great illustration of the campaign on the part of the far right to remove any discussion of race or racism in America by mounting an outrageous and thoroughly discredited offense as their best defense agtainst the charge.
In some cases, perfectly accurate.
We can't count on him staying weak. It's a long time to election day.
Gas prices could drop, unemployment could drop, etc.
I hope that does happen, but it will make it harder to beat him.
It looks like the nastiness is going to be coming from the left, and they're starting early. I hope you're right and we just sticks to facts.
It is a card designed by white supremacists from our history. It is acard printed by white hate groups from our history. It is a card distributed to every Afreican American in America as a reminder of hundreds of years of slavery and Jim Crow, of lynchings and castrations, and of denial of basic rights and legal equality.
It is a card that would not have been possible without white racism and its practices.
As a truck driver I hear a lot of Black truck drivers that are unhappy with Obama and will not vote for him.
Obama better realize he has not pleased anybody in this country except for the hard core partisan liberal democrats
Congressional Black Caucus: President Obama's not listening - Lisa Lerer and Nia-Malika Henderson - POLITICO.com
It is a card now fueled by Obama,Jackson,Sharpton and the democrats. The hate of blacks for whites is wrong . I wonder how you hold on to a grudge for over 200 years when so many things have happened to give you equal rights.
As a truck driver I hear a lot of Black truck drivers that are unhappy with Obama and will not vote for him.
White racists made that card and gave it to Black America. Its on them. They are responsible for any playing of the race card today. It is on them totally and completely. This silly idea that we can ignore the reality of history and magically start over pretending things did not happen like they did is an ostrich hiding its head in the sand.
This is important - why exactly?
And this passes for news that carries some importance?

2006,2008 and 2010 were all "change" elections. We have yet to see change. 2012 could be a year if a viable leader outside of either party shows up, he/she might be able to lead a 3rd party to victory and toss out both "established" parties.
