The assault rifle ban. While, it doesn't bother me, per se, it does bother some.

Half of me says you are right given the extremist make-up of much of the Republican primary constitutuency. The other half of me says we should not judge the GOP that harshly to think they would reject the srongest general election candidate and the one who could probably even beat Obama if other events go his way.

A lot of this is going to come down to what is the highest priority of the GOP. Is it to beat Obama or is it to continuing the purification of the party?

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

as a nominee running for president, you can bet he won't be saying anything to scare off the gun owners....and he won't be doing anything if elected either.

there are more important issues to address, like jobs and the economy.
I am more interested in his take on taxes. We cannot sustain our economy with ever increasing massive debt. It MUST be paid down and spending cuts alone will not do it. And, our infrastructure is OLD and in need of repairs at the least. The Bush tax cuts have to go.....

If this supposed purification continues the end result is going to be alot less republicans and whats left is going to be far far right and unable to win an election.
I keep saying this the republican party has far more WORKING CLASS voters than it does rich young teaparty voters that do not want to pay any taxs. If they alienate working class republicans they will cut their own throats

If you can bring nothing more intelligent to the topic as the above, it seems you are simply trolling.

Do you need to ask silly questions to fill up space on this site. We would be better off if you put your posts in a bottle and sent them out to sea rather than waste people's time.

Romney can't win, we won't vote for him.
