Romney is far smarter than anyone who has run in several election cycles. he was the ranking student at stanford-which he left for his mission and when he married he transferred to BYU where he graduated first in his class and then earned honors degrees in business (MBA) and Law (JD) at Harvard. he was one of the top 5 business students in his class. iF he was a presbyterian or an episcopalian he would be president now.

Your right, although I have very serious reservation about Mitt, especially his failed state and mandatory healthcare package in MA either by your own expense or the states.

No surprise, but it's April 2011 and we are basically starting the presidential campaign for Nov. 2012.
Oh good a choice between a liberal democrat and RINO, Thats basically two of the same thing. Hopefully that RINO gets knocked out of the primaries.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

sadly purist conservatives don't have much chance of winning. and Romney most likely will appoint 99% of the same judges as your most desired candidate.

Does he need to become a birther in order to get the nomination?

So the only option is to vote for a liberal republican aka a RINO? A liberal rat is still a liberal rat regardless what letter they have next to their name.

I see Romney appointing the same judges as Obama or close to it.

No one is looking to have to make a choice between a rino and obama...but if push comes to shove a Rino is better than another 4 of Obama to me.
I disagree Romney isnt a strict social or fiscal conservative but hes no obama.

I don't because i understand how the process works. district court judges are picked by the party leaders of the same party as the president-usually the state or city machine and then sent up by either senators or congressmen from where the seat is located. court of appeals usually by senators. sometimes a president wants someone on the supreme court but normally he delegates that to a search committee--or white house counsel (Bush 1)

I don't get why people like him. Mitt Romney is just this slimey sort of guy who I really can't see myself ever trusting. This country would probably be in a very bad place if Mitt Romney becomes president.

What makes you think there will be economic recovery? The ground our economy is on right now is terribly shaky. Really it just looks good because things have been buried in Fed cash. There is a limit.
