The RNC was saying if Hillary didn't find anything there wasn't anything to find.

However, what if Obama had something very damning on the Clintons?

But he put himself out there...
I don't think he'll do either. He's just trying to become the "birther candidate." Risky on his part since most mainstream Republicans don't buy the birther crap either.

What ever happened to that guy anyway?
He wasn't able to find the birth certificate. I guess Obama was no help at all.

    1. Barack Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetero.

    2. In Hawaii name change in the adoption is mandatory.

    3. The original birth certificate is replaced with a new birth certificate bearing the child's new name.

    4. If there is a birth certificate for Barack Obama in Hawaii, that birth certificate bears the name Soetero.

That, to me, is confusing enough an issue to move someone who has perhaps chosen to adopt his old name but never actually gone through the legal process to change it, to cover up his original birth certificate. The one that gives his name as Soetero.

We have had adoptions in my family. I know what happens to the birth certificates. They are changed.

If you're referring to Hawaii's Gov. Abercrombie, Hawaiian law prevented him from gaining access to the records. There were two prominent threads on the matter:

    Thread 1

    Thread 2

As with all "birther" threads, both provided in-depth insight into the subject matter at hand, as well as offered some very humorous moments.

Personal Note: My position on the matter remains unchanged. The President went through the DNC, the validation process with each state that put him on the ballot, ratification by the Electoral College and a Congressional Resolution, not to mention the Hawaii State Health Officer verified his birth records. So, unless The Donald's PIs actually find proof contrary to the published document posted online, President Obama meets the constitutional natural born citizenship requirement to be President.

Good Luck, Mr. Trump! You're gonna need it.

I don't believe there is any definitive proof that Obama was not born in Hawaii. I can't imagine any such evidence exists given the amount of effort expended to prove Obama was not born in Hawaii and after 3 years -- nothing.

conversely there is no concrete proof he was...thats why this just keeps motoring along. My position is this is a moot point now, hes been in office over two years, its way past the point of being effective. Obama has enough baggage to try an overcome the next election.

Talk of baggage I find is often redundant.

There isn't a politician on this planet that doesnt have some form of baggage...

And if they dont, it will be delivered

In magic this is called misdirection.

The democrats have the birth certificate as misdirection.
The republicans have Palin as misdirection.

Both have taken so much time and energy of the opposing parties.

    It is amazing.

That's not true at all. He has presented his certification of live birth which was certified and issued by the state of Hawaii. That's pretty concrete. Add to it the director of health and the state registrar both confirming his record. What's lacking, is any evidence that his COLB is either not authentic or at least, not accurate. All that exists are "suggestions" to that affect.

Hawaii is still trying to cover for Obama and they lied this morning. Here is a Hawaii long form birth certificate that was sent to a lady last month on March 15, 2011 as seen on the state registrar stamp at the bottom. It cost $10 for the certified copy. Her friend Miki Booth, a former Hawaiian resident and Oklahoma former candidate for the house posted it for all to see on her Facebook page along with her sons who was born in Hawaii as well as her husband. Here it is and go to her Facebook page to see the others posted:

Here is the story behind it.
Exposing the Birth Certificate Lies Used to Cover for Obama| The Post & Email

I have some fine friends in Hawai’i who share my fears for our country and my fierce desire to expose the lies that shield Obama. They have helped shed new light on the Hawai’i issues, and this newest long-form birth certificate dispels the rumor that one can no longer obtain a long-form birth certificate. The Post & Email reported last year that one can indeed get a long-form birth certificate, but it wasn’t until a few weeks ago that a friend sent me this one. The friend whose daughter was born at Tripler Army Hospital reported it took seven days and cost $10.00. A short-form certificate would have taken a lot less time and perhaps been available the same day. Here is the proof also that there is not and never was a box for religion. Note that the father’s race is listed as “Black,” not “African,” about which there have been considerable debate and speculation. No proof has been found to date with regard to a set statute for classification of races. I believe either are used according to the petitioner. Hawai’i is so unique with the blend of many races that we take pride in the fact that we are endowed with a multitude of cultures. Note the many races on this birth certificate. Of course English and German would be Caucasian as well as Portuguese. Chinese and Korean could be listed as Asian, but the people of Hawai’i would not want our races and cultures to be lumped together in a category for our posterity. We are unique.
