"The Kennedys" miniseries tonight

An 8 hour miniseries "The Kennedys" starts tonight on Direct TV. The series was originally intended for the History Channel" but they relented in stopping it due to pleas from Caroline Kennedy.

The show stars Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes as Jakie Kennedy and Greg Kinear as JFK.

I saw an interview with the creator and he says he had no intention of making tje Kennedys look bad but just waned to show their private lives as accurately as he could.

The show will be shown on Reelz Channel, an unknown channel that is suddenly known.

All your friends with Direct TV can record it for you so call them and tell them that they had better record it or else.....

Well the Direct tv is a mess and I'm sorry I recommended it. There is an on screen message telling me that the satelite is scanning for a signal. It takes up 1/3 of the screen and won't go away. I don't care what it's doing. The picture is fine otherwise.

I must interupt a screen saver every 4 minutes to let it know I'm still not enjoying the show.

I have zero interest in The Kennedys anymore and I'm wondering what those Ray Romanos are up to. I see that Marie interferes tonight. Should be good.
 
I could care less about the kennedys...caroline wanted it stopped because it shows SOME of the truth about them.
 
More about the show on the news this morning, Kennedy experts were interviewed and thought the show was fair and a good depiction of things the way they were. So it looks like Katie Holmes will be the hottest star for her turn. The unknown Reelz Channel will become the new Hollywood darling with Leonard Maltin as host. And Greg Kinnier is also getting serious kudos for playing JFK.

Did you know that Presidebt Kennedy spent all his final years in terrible pain and had to take all sorts of pills to make it through the day. It's just like how nobody knew Roosevelt was a cripple.

Other than Direct tv ruining the show with its needless satellite reports the miniseries seems to be a big hit with the critics. With repeats it is not too late to see all 8 parts of the series.

Katie Holmes has a clothing line now that Valentino and everybody are saying you simply must go buy.
