What's the conspiracy?
This guy said what he said. What's the theory part?
- there are routine posters on these forums that also agree that redistribution of wealth is critical for us to do (more of)
- there are routine posters on these forums that also agree that wall street doesn't deserve to make what it makes on the backs of "working class" people
It's not like we're talking about some hidden agenda. The only thing new in what he specifically suggested was a catalyst to enact that kind of reform he wants. Namely, a pre-meditated violation of legal contracts in an effort to disrupt Wall Street (banks, JP morgan, etc) to open the door for Change.
And, he pointed out appropriately that people already engage in the same behavior he's advocating on an individual basis (defaulting or whatever). He's saying if they can do it in a coordinated, large scale effort, it may hurt banks. What's so theoretical here?

But that's me.
Ted Cruz is the dumbest person alive.
I can't help but thinking...didn't this already happen? Didn't the stock market already crash, didn't big banks already die and have to be bailed out, didn't people already stop paying their mortgages (hence all the foreclosures), didn't students already stop paying their loans, didn't our economy already tank? Aren't we already in recovery from the aims of this supposed "leftist conspiracy theory"?
Maybe it already happened. Maybe we're just late to the party.

LOLZ. In crashing the stock market they'd damn themselves. Also, as I said before (I am reiterating this for the third time) it would have to be a massive conspiracy with an inside job at all levels. The economic elite would never let this happen as it would destroy their wealth. Also the government, who is controlled by the economic elite, would do any and everything in its power to make sure that the stock market did not collapse.

How can anyone get anything else out of that sentence?
