Palin Doctrine Emerges as Arab League Echoes Her Demarche on Libya

Well, that's the point. Where's the leader of the free world? Playing golf.

You know there's a problem with someone's mindset when they start believing America is the equivalent of the 'free world'.

So in your mind the president of the US is not the leader of the free world? I guess you think the US is equal to Uganda.

In my mind, the President of the US is... the President of the United States...

The United States is not the equivalent of the free world. It was not the first democracy in the world. It is not the biggest democracy in the world.

Talk about superiority complex.

I'm guessing in your mind, Britain is an 'imprisoned world'...?

This may surprise you, but other countries in the 'free world' actually have autonomy and sovereignty, and the president of the US can only suggest, which isn't exactly leading, now is it?

This makes no sense... Are you actually suggesting America does not control the rest of the world...?

She's ahead of the curve again, and people have the gall to claim she's stupid. If that's the case, what is Obama? Is he really, really stupid, or does he simply lack a pair of testicles. In the words of The Rag'in Cajun... perhaps Hillary can loan Obama one of hers.

.

The article calls the idea of imposing a no fly zone "without precedent" I can't be expected to take any article seriously when it forgets history.

she doesn't sound terribly bright here. her lack of Foreign Policy knowledge is astounding.

yeah, i saw an article today calling Sarkozy "Europe's George W". So i'm alright with Palin having parity with that.

You do know that that wasn't a compliment, don't you?

Nah, Sarkozy's wife is damn hotter then Bush's, and he's a prince. (which I just learnt, the French president is the only popularly elected monarch in the world)

:Oopsie

Apart from all the other democratically elected heads of state. He's not PM btw, he's President. Oh, and ex-officio co-Prince of Andorra.

over here it is. it suggests that perhaps there are still some (very few, but some) Europeans that actually, you know, have testicles.

I agree, the last european leader to have big balls was Maggie Thatcher.

I completely concur.

The only way a leader can have balls is if he directs the men and woman of his air forces to drop bombs from the sky on other men...

Otherwise forget it... :coffeepap

she actually kept a string of three brass balls on her desk to remind visiting pols of precisely that; she had more than you, hers were bigger than yours, and they were made of brass.

depends on the situation. watching a bully do so on innocents while you wring your hands and talk about how someone should do something....

...yeah, that's a lack of testicular fortitude.

for another example, if i were to use my fists to beat your wife into a bloody pulp in front of you, and instead of trying to protect her you screamed about how I was being a Big Meanie... you would'nt exactly be acting much of a man, now would you?

I wasn't speak metaphorically...

Yeah, takes real balls to start a war 8,000 miles away that none of your family are ever likely to be hurt by. Unsurprisingly it has left her as the most hated ex-PM of all time, and that's in a race that includes Tony Blair, Neville Chamberlin, and Lloyd George.

yup. folks often hate their benefactors.

The government is our benefactor thats a new one from you. By the way I think the Falkland War was a good move on UK's part but that statement you made still seems un CPwill ish

Two things:

- People have been talking about the no-fly zone for many weeks now. Palin is not ahead of the curve on this. Not to mention that I have a sinking feeling that, if a conservative were in power, liberals would be screaming for a "no-fly zone" and conservatives would be defending the isolationist option.

- We really, really don't need yet another war in the middle east.

President Obama's inaction is the right thing to do here (although I'd prefer a more manly Washington-esque admonition to stop trying to get involved in other countries' business every time **** goes down overseas). We're barely able to keep our own government running, we don't need to be shooting down other countries' planes and starting a war with another bat**** dictator.

This proves that despite her blood libel foot in mouth disease and her regrettable target crosshairs on Gabriel Giffords, she needs to be the 2012 GOP nominee. Maybe this will bring her back from the walking dead?
