Right, very revealing, taxpayers funding union employees spending some of the state's tax dollars on political operatives that support the union agenda. you don't have a problem with that? You do understand that private sector employees don't get taxpayer funding and are employed by those hated businesses?

Well since you bring it up, the topic is not trolling.

I do find it a fascinating study of one "coming out". It doesn't matter the type of OUT, you are now out, and with that there is evident some very strange need to prove how balanced the new you is, by taking every opportunity to slam the side you once sided with.

    Curious, it is.

Democracy in action is a beautiful thing.

We will never need a violent revolution in this country as long as the people can show the government who really is in charge.

Thanks for the churlish comment, we don't get enough of those.

    Corrupt government -vs- corrupt unions.

Grats to Walker for sticking it to the unions, and grats to the unions if they can stick it to Walker. Hopefully we can keep these 2 fighting long and hard enough they they'll take each other out, and finally the people can get some representation and deal with real world issues.

This is probably why bold measures in this country usually fail.

Not knowing Wisconsin politics, I beg an honest question, however. Did Walker campaign on this issue or similar?

Churlish, oh my, I feel so low now.

You do not get enough reality in places like this. I believe that is what you meant. Twas not Ed who started the ball rolling with a self-indulgent "look at me" thread about changing affiliation. No, that was Danarreah. And once that very personal decision became Forum Newz the whole kit and kaboodle became open for debate.

As a lifelong student of the mind, I find the exercise of intellectual divorce and the subsequent disdain for one's former love, akin to hating an ex girlfriend and taking every possible chance to call her a slut in public. It's sincerely very fascinating to witness the behavior.

He campaigned on reducing the budget. So yeah. Though there are some people that try to claim he didn't because he didn't state it exactly. What politician EVER states exactly what they are going to do?

Very revealing that 8 of the 10 top donors were from Unions for Barrett. One Union by itself gave twice as much as the 43,000 given by Koch to Walker.
